May 7, 2003

Greetings friends,

We, like many in the body of Christ, are experiencing considerable transition and expansion during this season. We are living in a unique day with incredible opportunity for growth, both naturally and spiritually. We are beginning to prophetically see the release of spiritual and natural provisions necessary for the revelation of the Kingdom of Heaven. Many who have been in a grooming process are presently entering the purpose for which they have been prepared. Although they are not seeing the fullness of it yet, an introduction to divine purpose and destiny can be seen.

Naturally, with this process there has been an escalation in the warfare attempting to prohibit the fullness of the commission. This is true not only for us but also many others with whom we are in contact. However, the Lord is promising that He is faithful to His purpose and is providing grace. The procedure is not always enjoyable or easy but the fruit is lasting.

There are many individuals that the Holy Spirit desires to use in a profound way. However, the old methods and mindsets we have become accustomed to will not accommodate the higher purpose. Therefore the warfare has been allowed to reveal hidden issues that would prohibit God’s highest. This is not for the purpose of making things difficult but to open the door to divine opportunities unprecedented or even imagined in the hearts of those in this spiritual circumstance. When Daniel and the faithful of Israel were in Babylon, they were allowed to prosper in captivity according to the Babylonian system. However, when the time for restoration came, a new Kingdom perspective was necessary and the old methods learned in Babylon were discarded. So is it today!

During Passover week, we were involved in the “Voice of Healing Conference II” in Shreveport LA. This conference capped a three series conference schedule that somehow was linked spiritually in purpose. The first began in Albany, Oregon and the second was in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

From the outset, each conference involved the supernatural dimension of revelation and power in the orchestration of the meetings. We have addressed a few of those occurrences through articles and newsletters. I have just completed another book that contains many of the truths imparted to us during the OR conference. In actuality, the revelation for this book first began in September with the passing of a friend. The Lord began to speak to me concerning mandates for this generation and the necessity to possess greater understanding of the revelatory realm of Heaven and the Cloud of Witnesses.

Presently we are working with John Paul Jackson and Streams Publications in it’s printing and distribution. Shawn has also completed his book centered around a phenomenal series of visitations that he had. It is going to be quite impacting. We are excited about these projects and working with the Streams team. The plan is to have them in print by July.

The Message

The essence of the messages for Shreveport involved the qualification of this generation to resume the inheritance that begun in the prior generation. This included not only the awesome Healing anointing that visited our nation but also greater dimensions of revelation both on a corporate level and in personal ministry. We shared the simplicity and humility of those mightily used in the ’40s and ’50s. While sharing this, something sovereign and holy entered the building with waves of brokenness that touched most everyone present.

Shawn Bolz, John Paul Jackson and Ray Hughes each added to this foundation with incredible messages involving divine destiny and supernatural faith. On the last evening of the conference, various forms of Light were visible and seen by many. The Bible depicts the Lord as the Father of Lights, so it is not uncommon for the two realms to merge. Photographs were actually taken that revealed the “balls of Light.” Hopefully, we can publish some of these on the Web site.

We are presently offering the tape series from Shreveport and the other two conferences if anyone is interested in obtaining them. We are also offering the three sets in a reduced price package because we’re that convinced that the consolidation of the messages will have considerable impact. As a rule, we generally do not emphasize the sale of products although we are interested in “resourcing” God’s people for this season imminently ahead. However, we highly recommend the tapes from these conferences. We believe there was anointing captured in the messages that can change the spiritual atmosphere individually and corporately. The speakers included Bob Jones, Bobby Conner, Paul Keith Davis, Shawn Bolz and others. (see materials directory)

Following the conference, we had a conversation with Bob Jones who shared the prophetic revelations that he likewise received during Passover. It was amazing how the Lord confirmed the messages while we were in Louisiana and he was in North Carolina. In a vision, he saw the Lord giving a unique spiritual “pen.” This was to symbolically portray the “pen of humility.” There will be a considerable grace given for those who write to give expression to the virtues of simplicity and humility as the essential ingredients in our spiritual composition.

The Bible declares that the Lord promises to give grace to the humble. We are in desperate need of immeasurable grace in this generation to fulfill our mandate. Those who possess this quality will discover great help from the Lord. The commission that was given on Passover is to help those who have a writing ministry to give expression to this essential attribute. The Lord is looking for the broken and contrite heart and those who weep over the abominations being committed in His church.

We believe this generation is about to enter a season in which “weeping” and brokenness will accompany the anointing in many services. This will not be generated by the soul but by the Holy Spirit. It will not be something that we produce or manufacture within ourselves. The Lord is going to visit our meetings and impart a measure of His broken heart and the weeping He experienced as He entered Jerusalem. This Passover season, a fresh release of these qualities were identified and imparted.

Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. Luke 19:41-42

We experienced a measure of this in Shreveport. It is not something to be resisted, but embraced. There will be a spiritual “marking” upon those who weep and groan over the unbelief and precepts of man being taught as truth. This time, however, the result will be different. Eyes and ears will be anointed to obtain insight with understanding concerning the revelation of the Kingdom. A generation will begin to inherit the long foretold promises and walk in supernatural dimensions long foreseen by prophets and patriarchs.

Spirit of Elijah Among Us

By Shawn Bolz

There is a very real distraction that the enemy is trying to bring right now and it is not a new strategy but one of his age old schemes. He is trying to bring wars and rumors of war to the doorstep of nations to preoccupy us, not with the Heavenly Kingdom, but with earthly ones.

Our adversary is attempting to create a dilemma amongst the spiritual authorities in America with diverse directions and spiritual perspectives. The prophetic voices in the western world are not setting a new standard in this hour as God’s covenant people are called to do. Instead prophet voices, for the most part, are themselves distracted and trying to influence the natural dynamics based on information and news reports, instead of getting true counsel in the courts of Heaven.

Just like in Biblical times, deceiving spiritual influences are attempting to find known prophetic voices to falsely prophesy a distracting agenda without claiming accountability for specific revelations. These directive words have been released and have actually perpetuated fear and torment in the nation, instead of raising the water level of faith. The Bible admonishes us to judge long term fruit. There have been very real warnings and revelations from God that have been overshadowed by other prophetic voices that have been speaking boldly.

God is speaking, but it takes trained discernment to hear His whisper amongst the segregation of perspectives and opinions packaged as ‘words from the Lord’ coming from every direction. Christian television, radio, and itinerate ministries are all trying to have the ‘word for the hour’ on the crises in America and the world. The desire is not wrong but when we are so hungry for revelation that we don’t wait for Heaven to engage us, we could discern ‘spiritual’ truth but it may not be inspired heavenly truth.

Our enemy is trying to give outlet to directional revelations for the season we are in, but there has been too many of these ‘revelations that just don’t have the counsel of God in them.

I heard a loud cry in the nations,–“Where is the Lord God of Elijah!”

This is the cry of the nations that I saw in a prophetic experience: Where is the voice of one who stands in their Ephesians 2 mandated place—‘Seated in a Heavenly Place’ and bringing counsel from Heaven to change the atmosphere upon the Earth? Where are the “Elijahs’” among us?

In Elijah’s day there were many prophets of God, but instead of walking the cutting edge of a narrow road of faith, they fell prey to fear, politics, and the jezebel spirit that governed the day. Elijah truly was seemingly alone because none of the other prophets were boldly speaking the true word of the Lord that brought the Kingdom of Heaven to contend with the natural kingdoms on the earth.

God is about to release the Spirit of Elijah upon the earth and there will be a clear mark upon those prophets that just speak words of revelation inspired by what is seen opposed to those who speak with the authority of Heaven. The Heavenly message contends through signs and wonders and the authority of Christ against the spiritual kingdoms of the earth.

Discerning Prophetic Fruit

Right now it is incredibly hard to discern the fruit of prophetic ministers for many reasons. Mainly, because there is no requirement of accountability for words that do not come to pass that are spoken through prophetic voices. It is not sin to be inaccurate; it is sin to not take responsibility for the inaccuracy and the enemy is waiting for any foothold of this type of sin so that he can begin to influence even those we consider anointed.

There is about to be a great rift in the prophetic culture because so many who claim to hold governmental weight in the Spirit will have a form of understanding and counsel but it will not have the fruit of the supernatural Kingdom of God in it. It may have spirituality in it, but it is more information than revelation that even demons have access too in the mid heavens. It is not our intent to be harsh or critical but to sound a trumpet call to carry prophetic ministry to a much higher level. A door of opportunity stands open before us for incredible advancement if we will take it.

Isaiah 29: 14 “Therefore once more I will asound these people with wonder upon wonder, the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intellegent will vanish.”

I am so excited about this word because the Spirit of Elijah is going to come upon the Earth. Generations have been waiting for what we are about to witness and testify of.

The Lord is Setting Apart People

It will come to vessels that will walk the narrow road. I saw the Lord picking the people out much like Samuel was sent to identify David. The Lord chose the least of the brothers in David’s family to be King. The anointing is about to come to the least likely, in human eyes, because the Lord does not look at outward appearance of ministries that seemingly are beautiful and have great influence. He looks at the heart of the ministry to see if it can carry His anointing.

Many self proclaimed prophets had great influence in the day of Paul the apostle, but the Lord was the one who anointed Paul with the favor of Heaven. It is not about influence, numbers, large structures, self appointment, or prophetic promises; it is about the fruit of heaven being active and apparent and the Lord Jesus getting the glory.

God is so full of burning desire to bring the Age of His Kingdom Dominion upon the Earth. I believe this is a season where many who have been tried in the fire of affliction are about to come forth and declare this awesome passage:

Isaiah 48:6 “From now on I will tell you new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created now, and not long ago, you have not heard of them before today so you cannot say, “Yes I knew of them.”

God is going to speak forth with His creative word!

A generation of prophetic people is being birthed who walk, not influenced by the kingdoms and politics of the day, but bring about fruit of Heaven to shake everything that can be shaken so that the true Kingdom will be born.

The Prince is Trying to Steal the Focus from the King I received a revelatory picture during a recent conference session. In it I saw a little man with a large crown who was the prince of Persia. He was a self proclaimed ‘prince.’ In this picture there was a war in the land and because of fear, even the guards of the treasury of God were sent by watchmen of the wall into battle instead of being faithful in their appointed station. I saw this ‘prince’ of Persia was using the distraction of the war to steal from the treasury, using this ideal situation as an opportune time.

We as the believing community need to learn from what we have just walked through in this war. I believe because the prophets and intercessors have the church so attentive on the smaller focus, the war, the greater focus of advancing the Kingdom is being put in a secondary place. We are not to disregard the need for prayer involving our military personnel or national security. However, these issues can be a stumbling block to our greatest and most important mandate of birthing Heavenly purposes in this hour.

The destiny of Jesus is at stake, and many are getting consumed with praying into the war as a preoccupation which robs Christians of their authority. Everything must come secondary to our true pursuit of Heaven. We are aliens to this world, and if God gives us an agenda of being a part of an answer in the midst of human dynamics it will become clear. However, it will be brought into perfect clarity and in proper heavenly order.

The little prince of Persia has been trying to steal the focus of the King by pushing the church to respond to elements of the war that we are to have no part of or out of it assigned timing. He is pushing our focus past God’s desire. He was a little prince with a large crown, but the crown was given by the fear of man.

Because of human zeal many Christians have been at the forefront of heralding a political cry ‘Lets go to war!’ not fully prepared for the ramifications. Through this human ambition, the many churches in the Middle East have been set back up to a decade. Christians in the persecuted church went from slowly coming out to a bold profession of faith, to going completely back underground. Many Christians were beaten and churches have even more persecution then even before the wartime.

This is true primarily because of their perception of a Christian nation coming against a Muslim nation. Sometimes this is part of the cost of following God’s command, but I believe it went too far. We have heard more prophecies about the takeover of Iraq than about God’s covenant people in the Middle East, including Israel. We have lost our focus and now we are close to the end of one war, but a new one is starting.

When the Lord sends us to war, His Zeal accomplishes the fullness of the purpose He desires. Conversely, when man goes to war in human zeal, there is great confusion and prolonged suffering. We love our President and the noble cause of removing tyranny. However, there is an appropriate timing. Sometimes good things can be a distraction to God’s best and highest purpose.

Strategy of the Prince of Persia

What we are facing is part of an age old war in the Middle East, and there are ruling powers there that are trying to gain a foothold of influence in the world right now hoping to destroy God’s covenant people. The “princes” of the Middle East are hungry for attention and they are being strategic in their provoking of the western world. Just like in Biblical days, the prince of Persia is responsible again for trying to destroy the focus of God’s covenant people and to delay the true Kingdom from advancing.

This prince of Persia has five strategies right now specifically designed against the church in the Western World:

1) To Distract Our Focus

2) To Postpone the Kingdoms advancement

3) To cause fear of destruction through
terrorism and war

4) To steal from the provision and push us
into recession

5) To bring accusation against the nature of

It is a season of 12:12

If we set our hearts like Daniel did in Daniel 12:12 then the response from Heaven will be delayed no longer.

Daniel 12:12: “Do not be afraid Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.”

We must humble ourselves and set our minds to embrace only the understanding that comes through the Spirit of God, not human wisdom which is based in speculation or recycled spiritual understanding.

This great man who spoke to Daniel was resisted 21 days, but then Michael was sent on his behalf. We need to appeal to God to send the Host of Heaven, including Michael, in this hour, to contend for the will of God!

I believe that God is going to answer the nations cry and send forth His Spirit— the Spirit that Elijah had, but it will cost the western world church a true war that will be performed by the Zeal of God. It will be a war between those who will walk in the Word and the Spirit, and those who will walk in their own purpose. A true inspired war is about to break out and the outcome will be decided upon by human wisdom packaged in prophetic words, but by the power of the Spirit of Elijah!

[genesis 1:3-4] and God said, let there be light; and there was light. and God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. [II corinthians 4:6] for God who said, let light shine out of darkness, has shown in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the light for illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [genesis 1:5] and God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. and there was evening and there was morning, one day. [genesis 1:14] and God said, let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs and tokens (of God’s provident care), and (to mark) seasons, days, and years. [genesis 8:22] while the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. [genesis 1:15] and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth. and it was so. [genesis 1:16] and God made the two great lights – the greater light (the sun) to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to rule the night. He also made the stars. [genesis 1:17] and God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, [genesis 1:18] to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness, and God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it. [genesis 1:19] and there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

light is a powerful substance. we are connected to it spiritually. yet, for something so powerful, its experiential presence is fragile. to form it as a material would be to inhabit an unprecedented spatial and temporal place. there is a quality of feeling with light that extends beyond the eyes. the use of light as (a) material substance requires technology of a kind that would enable us to move within the fluid, liquid like nature of light. to experience the bouncing- shafts of light- splashing up- these are some of the things light can do.

claude monet, and his contemporaries, renoir, and other late 19th century artists, were consumed with the idea of “capturing light”. they seemed to understand the terms of young, helmholtz, and maxwell’s new theories of vision, and intuitively set off to analyze and commit light to canvas. initially, these painters had been schooled in mixing colors based upon chevreul’s color wheel, on which red, blue, and yellow are primaries, and the complimentary colors are red/green, blue/orange, yellow/violet.

to learn how to mix colored light, (spectra), was a whole new concept. to this end, many artists turned to manuals that essentially taught lay versions of maxwell and helmholtz optics. these manuals provided simple experiments that could easily be replicated back in the artists studio.

the mixing of colored light generally differs from the mixing of colored pigment. for example, on a painters palette blue and yellow mix to form green, but on maxwell’s triangle, the midpoint between blue and yellow is in the area of pale blue, and pale red, producing an off white hue which appears as gray. big difference. with pigment, the more colors you add, the more brown you get. with light, the more colors you add, the more white you get.

nevertheless, from the point of view of pigment capturing light, the “impressionists” achieved extraordinary results.

but it wasn’t until the 20th century, with an artist named thomas wilfred, (circa 1930’s), (who invented an instrument called the lumia), that artists grabbed hold to the idea of using light itself as a substance for making art.

in the 1960’s, artists robert irwin, james turrell, dan flavin, maria nordman, ore, bell, and others, once again began experimenting with the idea of applying light as a material substance to make art. each had vastly different ideas about how light should be employed. whereas dan flavin embraced a minimalist approach, presenting the unadorned fluorescent light as an aesthetic object, irwin and turrell explored the idea of utilizing ganzfeld effects, and other perceptual psychology techniques directed to light.

for some artists, like turrell, working with light was more about working with space and the light that inhabits it, and about the perceptual interaction with how one sees, and how one sees oneself seeing, then with light as a substance having need of a similar type of control a brush has to paint.

what all of these artists, from monet to turrell have had in common though, is the notion that unlike paint, light is a spectral material and, like all early pioneers, they have not had the technology in place.

Arba-eem. forty years have past since experiments in art and technology have toyed with the idea of a light instrument. [deuteronomy 20: 1-4] when you go forth in battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, who brought you out of egypt, is with you. and when you come near to the battle, the priest shall approach and speak to the men, and shall say to them, hear o israel, you draw near this day to battle against your enemies. let not your [minds and] hearts faint; fear not, and do not tremble or be terrified [and in dread] because of them. for the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you.

we are about to enter a renaissance. the invisible will become visible. art will no longer be limited to the physical materials of pigment, clay, steel, paper, or glass, or to the traditions of cultural structures. in fact, there has never been a culture having any tradition of utilizing light as material substance. we are about to see what has never been seen. light is not limited by material weight, form, or scale. light in concert with sound becomes an entirely new vocabulary. a vocabulary which we are only now beginning to understand, and embrace. bsg…….

Materials and Support

We as a ministry appreciate the interest that has been demonstrated in the tapes and books that we are able to offer. We have been very grateful to Bill Lancaster who has volunteered his service and provided expertise over the last year in helping us structure a mechanism whereby people are able to order our materials. We are presently concluding a major transitioning season in this department. Additionally, we will be substantially expanding the inventory for both tapes and books.

We apologize if any of you have had delay in getting the materials that you have ordered during this transition. However, we are now structured to accommodate the fulfillment of our orders immediately. Shanee and Bridgett Clark have done an incredible job for us in editing and organizing our materials both through the website and conference meetings. If anyone should have a question or comment regarding your order you may e-mail them at newsletters@

There have also been a number of people who have inquired about supporting this ministry on a regular basis. We are genuinely humbled and grateful that the Lord has allowed us to touch the hearts of people. Generally, we have not used this forum to address this issue. However, because many have inquired, we will post a directory on the web site showing how support can be provided. Information can be obtained through Shanee and Bridgett at newsletters@ or our mailing address:
