Already 2006 is indeed proving to be a year of change. For us individually and as a ministry this has certainly been the case. We are also finding it to be true throughout the body of Christ.
I was immensely encouraged during our recent conference in Houston, TX. It seemed the hunger and revelatory capacity of the people escalated to a new level. I pray that is a prophetic forecast of things to come.
The Lord spoke profoundly clear to me during December and emphasized the importance of delegating strong meat. In fact, he actually said for us to no longer put reins on the message He has entrusted to us. Therefore, with His help, we hope to preach, teach and write a present message that He can anoint to prepare His people for the coming destiny.
On a personal note, our people continue to make the transition to Alabama. There are still a few who will be moving during the first quarter of this year including JoAnn McFatter. We are looking forward to having everyone here. With the Lord’s help we plan to begin our weekly meetings in February. Our primary objective is determining the appropriate location. Please continue to pray with us in this regard. More will be announced on this later.
It is our prayer that the messages contained in this newsletter will be a blessing.
Blessings of grace and favor,

The Open Book
By Paul Keith Davis
O Daniel, man of high esteem, understand the words that I am about to tell you and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling- Daniel 10:11
Daniel was a fascinating prophet on many levels. His strength of character and personal devotion clearly captured heaven’s attention. He became a spokesman to his generation and to ours.
Daniel is a prophetic model for today’s leadership and the generation he foresaw. His life typifies many leaders maturing in this end-time generation. Like this notable prophet, men and women of high esteem who will not yield to the fear of man are poised to emerge. As with Daniel and his three friends, these have discovered the Lord in the “fiery furnace” and the “lions den” and surfaced as overcomers.
As in his day, many of God’s people have been residing in spiritual Babylon. Great confusion has permeated the faith. Nevertheless, we await God’s promised restoration. In fact, this process has already been set in motion and greatly advanced during the Latter Rain outpouring of 1946-65 and continues today.
The plumb-line is in the Lord’s hand by which all truth will be measured. (Zechariah 4:10) This can only be produced through the written Word being mightily anointed to bring forth the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ. It is the full revelation of Jesus Christ to be delivered to the end-time generation by those who eat the now unsealed book brought by the hands of a strong angel;
We first discover this mysterious book in Daniel 12:3-4 when the prophet was instructed that,
Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.
It is our prophetic directive to arise and shine brightly during days of great darkness. We are living in the “end-of-time” era. We have the scriptural assurance that this wonderful promise must be fulfilled. A secret to that reality is found in the words concealed in this incredible book of destiny. Many will go “back and forth” in this day to apprehend its truth and delegate it to this generation.
In the Father’s Right Hand
We first discover this book as it is sealed in Daniel’s day. We then find it in Revelations 5 held in the Father’s right hand as He sits upon His throne of ultimate power and authority. It had to be preserved in heaven to keep the revelation a secret from man and our adversary.
If man had discovered at the inappropriate time the mysteries of God’s consummation, then we would clearly have perverted them as we have most all of our inheritance throughout history. If our enemy were to realize the contents of this book, he would surely counterfeit them as he has the things delegated to us from God. It was preserved by the Father until Someone was found worthy to take it from His hand and reveal it at the appointed time.
Only the Lord Jesus overcame and qualified to take the book and break its seals. What an incredible day we live in! So great was this act that all of heaven worshiped the Lord for His worthiness. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell on their faces before the Lord in this magnificent prophetic fulfillment.
He opened the book of redemption and the full revelation of who He is. The mysteries of God’s kingdom are delayed no longer! Many patriarchs and prophets throughout history longed to understand what will freely be given to this generation of those who overcome.
The apprehension of the truth contained in this veiled book will cause us to be illumined with the brightness of His presence and the strength of great understanding. Then we will lead many to righteousness in a great harvest of souls.
A New Song
This book is a key to the harvest. The song that is sung in heaven at the breaking of its seals emphasizes its role in the great harvest and the calling of many to righteousness. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders sang,
Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth – Revelations 5:9-10
Daniel stressed that the words of this book are concealed and reserved for the latter-day generation. We are there! At the breaking of its seals heaven’s host acknowledges the Lord’s great sacrifice and the relationship between the unveiling of this book and the harvest of souls purchased with His own blood.
Furthermore, there is also an emphasis on the full measure of power, wisdom, might and glory that is to be revealed on this side of eternity. The opening of this book conveys those virtues in its complete revelation to mankind.
The Strong Angel
In Revelations 10 we next discover this opened book in the hand of a strong angel coming down from Heaven. He has a rainbow around His head and feet like pillars of fire that He places on the land and sea. Who is this strong angel? It can be none other than the Angel of the covenant who led Israel as a pillar of fire by night and cloud by day. He now brings the complete revelation of His covenant to present the bridal company without spot or wrinkle. He is introduced to Israel saying,
Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name is in him.
But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries…But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst – Exodus 23:20-23 & 25
This Angel represented God’s manifest Presence among His people. Likewise, the Spirit of the Lord visited this nation with the manifestation of His presence during the last generation. The Latter Rain outpouring was much more than just a healing revival; it was the sowing of seeds for the great harvest. More notable things were accomplished than most presently comprehend.
Great end-time pledges were set in motion. It was the opening of the mysterious book foretold by Daniel; but to the 21st century generation, He returns with the now open book in His hand and offers it to be consumed.
Passing of the Torch
The strong angel was introduced in the previous generation through a “Moses” anointing that brought people out of captivity. He now returns to this generation through a “Joshua” anointing to carry people in to the promise of the open book. The Lord walked with Joshua as He did with Moses. Even so, His presence with Joshua revealed an entirely different aspect of His virtue. (See our article “As I Was with Moses.”)
We are promised the same manifestation of His Spirit as He beckons those who overcome to take the now opened book and eat it. It will not be enough to merely read this book, it must be devoured. When we do, it will cause us to see the scriptures in an entirely new light. Our understanding of His Word will increase substantially while seemingly veiled passages scarcely understood will be clearly illumined.
The mysteries of God’s kingdom will be made evident. This mystery is more about becoming something than doing something. It is about becoming God’s mature sons and daughters; the Word becoming flesh once again. Then we will do all that is ordained for this day.
The open book will be offered to those who are hungry for His presence and are passionate to know Him as fully as He may be known. That is the bridal calling; to consume it and make it a part of who they are by consolidating the Word with the Spirit.
It will not be enough to merely intellectually analyze the truth of the open book. It must be mingled with the spirit of revelation to give it life and substance. This experience will fully form Christ in us and bring us to maturity. The Lord’s desire is to fully redeem and sanctify our spirit, soul and body by preserving us complete and without blame at His coming. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
There is a supernatural element in this destiny that cannot be denied. Like Paul, these mysteries will come by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:12) Though the open book will be sweet in our mouths, it will become bitter in our stomachs. It will not be enough to be satisfied with the mere consumption of this book; but we must also prophesy this revelation to many nations, peoples, and kingdoms. That is the day we have now transitioned into.
Things Will Never be the Same
By Shawn Bolz
On New Years day I was in that half asleep-half awakened state and a man came into my room and sat in my chair and began to talk to me. Because I thought it was a dream it did not startle me. As I began to grow more aware of this person, I realized how strange it was that I would be talking to him as I was getting up because no one ever enters my room to wake me.
This is when I became fully awake and the man disappeared. I believe he was a heavenly messenger. As I rehearsed the whole scenario through my mind over and over I could only remember the scriptures we were discussing. The main scripture was Isaiah 43:18-19:
Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! (Message translation)
Embracing the Coming Changes
I believe God’s covenant people are on the verge of the greatest change that has ever occurred since the resurrection of Christ. At the same time, very often our past experience can be the enemy to future glory. Sometimes we look back and become jaded about change because we want a reoccurrence of something that we experienced before.
We must leave the past in the past and press on for the future glory. The greatest test of maturity in the western church will be its ability to embrace change. The Gospel never changes but the methods and institutions must.
Revelation Is Coming
When Paul shared his revelations, one of his primary mandates was the inclusion of the gentiles in salvation. Although all of the mature of the church eventually agreed with Paul, the change was very slow with respect to the attitudes towards the gentiles.
Paul even acknowledged that he had to confront Peter who was favoring Jews over the gentiles. (Galatians 2). God is going to release revelations that are fresh about how to advance the kingdom inside and outside of the institution of the church. He is going to do a new thing. When God speaks these things to an audience, we can literally put ourselves behind if we do not embrace the revelations from trusted vessels who speak into the culture of our churches.
The New Takes a New Mind-set
During the artistic renaissance period, God longed for the church to embrace arts so that the Gospel could not only be heard but seen. Art was in some ways looked down upon as an occupation as it was considered worldly; but in the renaissance period God raised up powerful prophets called artists who painted pictures that were worth a thousand sermons.
A whole society was able to wrap its heart around the gospel’s message as God and His word became real through art. The church did not champion the artists, only their art that was produced and continued to look at the profession of art as more worldly than godly.
This is an example of how, even in this day, there are many occupations that God desires to use in this new instillation of kingdom activity. In the midst of this, many of these occupations are still judged by the religious community as more worldly and un-beneficial.
An example of this is the video game industry. I believe God is about to unlock anointed entertainment that will give the younger generation a walk-through of Biblical figures lives as well as showing the truths of the Bible in a current cultural way.
The church has an opportunity to partner with heaven’s agenda and endorse the young people who want to be missionaries into this industry; but many people are criticized for even thinking about becoming programmers or graphic designers for video game companies. Unfortunately some parents and leaders look at this vision as an ungodly or worldly ambition.
How Do We Keep From Getting Behind?
I am going to unravel another scenario as an example of how we get behind as the church. I believe that hundreds if not thousands of people began to be sent as secret missals into the Hollywood industry in the early to mid nineties. Many of them went with prophetic promises and visions that were straight from heaven. I believe that there was a window of time in the nineties that God desired to anoint these people to bring some television shows and movies that would prepare peoples hearts for Jesus.
I also believe that when it came to finding finances for these projects that many churches and ministries shut their doors to these anointed ones because it was so different and new that the church at large did not know how to get on board with what God wanted to do there. The church knew how to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to do missionary crusades that affected a few thousand people, but didn’t know how to raise the same amount or more to affect millions.
God had a message He wanted delivered and anointed chosen vessels outside of the institutional church to prophecy those messages. This special anointing would make certain television shows and movies prophetic in their message to the world even though they were not stewarded by the church.
How do we keep from getting behind? We need to be expanded by His heart and vision to see a bigger picture then we presently see. Many ministries will raise large amounts of money for projects that have low risk potential but also low fruit yield; but not many will raise money for high risk potential projects that can potentially give the highest reward potential. Look at the history of “The Passion of Christ.” We have to allow our vision to be enlarged.
I believe Isaiah 54:1-4 speaks to this scenario. (The Message Version)
Sing, barren woman, who has never had a baby. Fill the air with song, you who’ve never experienced childbirth! You’re ending up with far more children than all those childbearing women.” GOD says so! “Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent
You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You’re going to take over whole nations; you’re going to resettle abandoned cities. Don’t be afraid–you’re not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back–you’re not going to come up short. You’ll forget all about the humiliations of your youth, and the indignities of being a widow will fade from memory.
What happens when those who were sent begin to birth their promises?
How Do We Prepare for the New
God rarely did anything with His covenant people twice in the Bible. He led them in new ways although the guiding principles and standards never changed. We can’t expect to look back into the past to see how the future will unfold because God is going to do things we can not expect. We can expect the nature of God behind the unexpected though; He never changes. His love is always the same.
If we want to prepare for the new we have to be willing to endorse and champion the new roles and occupations that God is sending the church into. We are going to have to be willing to take great risks as communities and as individuals. We are going to have to realize we only have a small window of time to bring Him the fullness of His reward.
Fireside Chat with Bob Jones
By Paul Keith Davis
This portion of our newsletter is intended more as a prophetic word than as a teaching article. It is taken from an experience Bob had a few years ago pointing to this specific moment in our prophetic destiny. It highlights the past decade and the difficulties we have experienced but also reiterates God’s purpose for allowing them. Having the understanding that the Lord is grooming us for something significant transforms our mind-set and generates hope to displace hopelessness. Without this understanding we would indeed experience profound hopelessness and despair. A double portion restoration and return is our legacy.
The Seed of God — Part I
God’s people are the remnant seed. The Lord is getting ready to sow again the remnant of His people. Many Christians are literally in a time of death to self; the seed of God is sown with travail and weeping. One of the main delays has simply been waiting on the Lord’s timing. God has synchronization for His plans.
For years, the Lord has been working on and empowering many people in preparation for this hour. We are now at a crossroad in His blueprint and great change is on the horizon.
The process has been long and difficult but God has given us new life at different times to encourage us to continue to press in to Him. He gave us Toronto to bring joy into His people. He gave us Brownsville with an emphasis on repentance. The Lord has allowed the Church other expressions of His grace to deliver us to this point.
Now the Lord of the Harvest has arisen. Everyone is called to have a role in the harvest; the harvest of souls and the harvest of promises begins with prayer. According to Job 22:30, the Lord will even deliver the one for whom you intercede who is not innocent. He will be delivered through intercession and the cleanness of our hands.
When we pray, begin first in our own families. We are being granted a door of opportunity for reconciliation in families; both personal and church families. A grace to extract division and dis-harmony is being allowed. The fruit of this is already being made evident throughout the Church.
Pray for those who are not innocent and who do not have clean hands and have not yet embraced the Lord’s salvation and perhaps given you the worst counsel. That is what Job did.
It came about after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has. Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and My servant Job will pray for you. For I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has…The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold — Job 42:7-8 & 10
The righteous prayer of Job intervened for those around him despite their folly. It is time the fortune of God’s people be restored as well. The Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored double his fortune when he prayed for his friends. We are entering the season of the double-portion.
The eyes of the Lord are roving to and fro looking for a righteous agency on the earth to stand in the gap. The Lord is asking, “is there no man when I call? Is there anyone to answer? I am speaking is there anyone listening? Is my hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Don’t you know who I am?”
There will be a remnant of people on the earth who hear and respond to this call. According to Isaiah 50:2 the Lord asked,
Why was there no man when I came? When I called, why was there none to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke, I make the rivers a wilderness; their fish stink for lack of water and die of thirst.
The Lord can change things quickly. He is giving His people an instructed tongue that we may sustain the weary with a word from Him. He is presently awakening many saints morning by morning that He may give to them eyes to see and ears to hear instruction like His disciples. (Isaiah 50:2)
Many in the Church are coming to the end of a season of pruning and judgment as it is beginning in the world. His desire if for our light to shine brightly for many people will be heading our way in the great night. It is time for those who overcome to arise with a measure of His glory resting on them.
This will literally be the season for the fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy when he wrote,
Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever — Daniel 12:3
This is the time for the accomplishment of divine purposes and a wave of harvest. The Lord is laying claim to this generation of young people as well as the seasoned and mature. It will be both the Joshua’s and the Caleb’s. The Lord is healing the fracture He has created in a third day harvest of the wounded and persecuted. His will is being accomplished in a mighty way so that a harvest can be achieved.
The trials in the earth will increase in an awesome way while at the same time the end-time truths from the book of Revelations shall become increasingly clear. Great understanding will be delegated to the Church concerning these mysteries.
The book of Revelations is a love letter to the Lord’s bride and prepares her to be joined to Him. He is calling to those with ears to hear what He is saying concerning these times and seasons. This will not be a time to do anything presumptuously; but those who are led by the Spirit can rest in His protection and grace.
The Lord has already triumphed over the adversary and made a public spectacle of him. Now is the time for us to comprehend more fully that reality and appropriate it. The Lord is delegating His victory to us when we are joined to Him.
One of our greatest callings in this hour is to no longer be considered the Lord’s servants, but His friends. We have a Friend who is eternally positioned on His throne of victory and authority and we need a more complete vision of this to fully activate our faith. Commissioning from the throne room can be a living reality as promised through God’s word. He is saying “come up here!”
He is calling His Church to discern the times and know the seasons and to know the mind of Christ for this day. It isn’t His desire to hide it from us but reveal great understanding so that the heathen may see God’s blessing and wisdom upon His people. That is what the grooming of the last decade has been intended to accomplish. The pain of our past is the preparation for our future.
Our brokenness without the spirit of understanding bring hopelessness; but brokenness with understanding brings hopefulness. The Lord’s Spirit has been breaking us and uprooting our fallen nature and carnal plans in order to inject His own nature and strategy. His ultimate purpose is to reveal the Fatherhood of God and make us His mature sons and daughters.
Though it seems we have failed in many ways, these years have actually cultivated humility. The arm of the flesh and our own strength cannot accomplish the end-time mandate. It will not be by the might of man nor the power of our own ingenuity but by His Spirit alone. Our job is to yield and learn to co-operate with Him.
Like Jacob, the Lord has destroyed our dependence upon human strength and changed our nature. A new name is being given according to Revelations 2:17 to those who overcome in this fashion.
In every thunder and lightning storm, every earthquake, every volcano and hurricane, the Lord will have His way. These are signposts to illuminate the day in which we live and the seriousness of the hour and our great need for the Lord Jesus.
The Iburn Internship:
We are pleased to announce that our young adult internship, Iburn, will be starting again in March of 2006. There is still time to apply.
What are you doing with your life? Do you know you have a call of God but don’t know how to take the steps to get there? That is why we have formed the Iburn Internship. It is an advanced training course to mentor young people in intimacy with Jesus so that they can hear His voice in tangible ways and therefore receive heaven’s direction for their destiny.
Our emphasis is to train and equip young people who are focused on intimacy with Jesus and desire this intimacy to create a great impact on our generation. By giving ministry opportunities for personal growth, we believe that our interns will begin to rise to the occasion of this commission.
To learn to walk with God like Enoch did will even causes them to manifest abilities that they could not demonstrate by their own nature or gifts, but only by participating with the divine nature of Jesus Christ. The program is designed for those who know they are called to make an impact, those who are not afraid of going for God whole-heartedly.
Iburn track-one is a three month internship. Our WhiteDove ministry team will train and equip a small number of people who live together, eat together, pray together, and run towards Jesus together. We will maintain the internship under 30 people so we can ardently focus on each individual.
This program is designed for young adults ages 18-25 that have already demonstrated some level of leadership or completed other Bible School or internship programs. It is a foundation laying program for identity with Christ and supernatural ministry. Interns will participate in evangelism and outreach, prophetic ministry, worship ministry, traveling ministry, writing, preaching, and more.
For more information on Iburn and applications, cost information, or a printable brochure, please check out the website: www.iburn.org or contact office@ @iburn.org
